Week 5 – #EverRiseWomen 2019

Here we are in December and week 5 of #EverRiseWomen2019!  To learn more about the origins of #EverRiseWomen2019, check out this post.

Here are the amazing, talented women of week 5:

29. Brigette Hyacinth  If you’re on LinkedIn, you know that Brigette Hyacinth needs no introduction. However, if you’ve been living under a rock, you should know that she is an expert in leadership, digital transformation and artificial intelligence. More importantly, she consisently shares a smile and positive vibes with the world. She lifts everyone. Let’s lift her!

30.  AnneMarie Horowitz AnneMarie Horowitz is the leader of the STEM Rising program at the United States Department of Energy. The program provides excellent STEM resources for students, teachers, and workforce development. I had the pleasure of meeting AnneMarie recently and speaking together at the World Woman Summit #WWS2019.

 

31.  Dr. Deanne J. Idar  Dr. Deanne Idar is a scientist, leader and coach. Her professional experience provides her with a unique coaching perspective. She’s also a trusted advisor and delivers focused market intelligence. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Idar when we both worked at LANL and have enjoyed following her journey.

 

32.  Dr. K. Anne Juggernath – Dr. Anne Juggernath is a scientist and expert in technology transfer and commercialization. She’s excellent at navigating intellectual property, strategy, open innovation and technology scouting. Dr. Juggernath and I are both alums of the University of Michigan.

 

33.  Cam Kashani Cam Kashani is known as the “Godmother of Silicon Beach.” She cofounded the first coworking space in Los Angeles for technology startups and entrepreneurs in 2010, Coloft and was named as one of the most “Inspirational Women in Tech” by Inc. Magazine. I had the pleasure of meeting Cam and her adoring twin boys at the World Woman Summit.

34.  Molly Kerr Molly Kerr is an exceptional engineer and leader at Northrup Grumman Corporation. She’s held progressive leadership roles and has years of experience in space systems. Not only is she a great engineer, she’s a wonderful human being. I know because she was my college roommate and dear friend!

 

35.  Courtney Linder Courtney Linder is a Senior News Editor at Popular Mechanics. I worked with Courtney during her time at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. She’s an excellent writer and brings great perspective to the science and technology community. I miss her in Pittsburgh but am so happy for her continued growth.
